Travis Kelce shares Taylor Swift’s Chiefs discovery
Taylor Swift will be at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, January 18th to cheer on Kansas City Chiefs in his first playoff game, Travis Kelce confirms in a new interview. The Chiefs tight end — and Swift’s boyfriend — was a guest on Pat McAfee’s show of the same name.
“Will there be an aura in that place, a little more?” You know what we’re talking about,” host Pat McAfee asked Kelce about Swift’s possible playoff appearance.
“Oh yeah, you know that, honey,” Kelce replied. “It’s playoff football, man.”
McAfee noted that athletes count on Swift to appear at Chiefs games because of the team’s high winning percentage when she attended games. Swift has attended 20 games so far, and the Chiefs have lost just three of those games. The last match attended by Swift it was on December 21 when the Chiefs played the Houston Texans.
“Hey, is she undefeated?” Kelce asked. “She walks into that stadium, I just want to tell you what the live bookies do. They see her walk into that stadium and immediately open her phone, like, ‘Yeah, the Chiefs are about to win.’ It literally feels like it.”

Later in the interview, McAfee asked Kelce if he had heard any new music from her since she is rumored to be dropping another album this year. Swift released her 11th studio album, Department for Tortured Poets, last April. The project is now ready six Grammys this season.
“I’ve listened to all the albums, I’ve heard all of them,” McAfee said, praising Kelsey for doing the right thing with Swift, since her previous records were about relationships gone wrong. “I appreciate you, buddy. I also think there’s one coming where it’s going to be a great, like, good guy. Like, that’s going to be great, in my house.”
While the project is rumored to be in the works, Kelce did not confirm that new music is on the way, but instead noted that he will continue to support her musical endeavors.
“You know I can’t say, you know I can’t say … none of that,” Kelce said. “I hear music everywhere.”
“I’ll never call back, but you already know I’m here to support it, I’m here to see where it can go, you know what I mean,” the athlete said.
The Chiefs and Texans face off on Saturday, January 18th at 4:30pm ET.
