In the meantime, the likes of Justin Rose, Colin Morikawa and Sahit Tigala have been shooting.

Tiger Woods will be the reason people watch as TGL moves forward. He is arguably the greatest golfer of all time and will play more in the simulator league than on the PGA Tour moving forward. While it’s not the same as watching him compete at Augusta, he still moves the needle more than anyone.

TGL started off with solid ratings in its first week. Nearly a million people tuned in to ESPN without Woods, and the league should expect more numbers this week.

Jupiter Links returns to the TGL stage on Monday, January 27 against Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common. Jupiter’s fourth member, Tom Kim, could play in that match, but is likely to include Woods again.
