Tomer Azarli: Here with Kevin’s trotman new balance on activation of bricks and wood on the All-Star Weekend. First of all, what is your role in this new Balance Brick and Wood Cooperation?

Kevin Trotman: Yes, absolutely! So I was a product manager on both footwears, and basically my job was to communicate with not only Kacey (Linch), but also with our inner partners in the factory to ensure that the shoe and design that Kacey wanted to revive in life. And so when it comes to prices, a lot of products of products, I enter all this and set these goals and things that nature.

Tomer Azarli: So how did this new balance of the brick and co-operation start?

Kevin Trotman: It was really born to really want to just provide, grows and reinforce our partnership with bricks and wood. And I think we’re sure that the brand knowledge is somehow doubled in the basketball player category and we really make sure we invest in the category, we wanted to have a presence at the All-Star weekend. We did not have a presence of 2020. years, so we wanted us to be sure we did with a partner who made sense. And the brick and wood are a brand in California, a brand of South Central La, we thought it made sense.

Tomer Azarli: As for history with bricks and wood, where did it begin and why you said that this year was year, let’s go with a yellow kind of golden state-ish Colorvai? Like why was that years?

Kevin Trotman: Yes, I think of the first part of your question only around bricks and wood: I mean, I think the lighting really started, we wanted to make sure we had a presence in LA. We didn’t have many partners in that point. That returned 2020. year we started talking to them at first. And we didn’t have many LA partners, so we wanted to make sure we cover our base with someone who I feel authentic and we also feel like we can coexist in the same space. And a lot of things that Kacey means, like a brand and like a man, I mean something on the brand, we also advocate. So it really is meaning to work together. And then for that, I think, for a shoe, I think it’s a color, black and yellow, it’s really somehow just to pay homage to the bay area and history there. Kevin Trotman: Yes. So this is an updated version. Yes. So, this will be, so it is an exclusive first look at this new model we move in our category. So we will release more Linary August down the line. But this is the first look at the model itself.

Tomer Azarli: Why was it important to go like you know, make a basketball show and go in athletic way? The new balance has a lot of great clothing garments, but you are big steppieces to become more sports clothes.

Kevin Trotman: Sure. Yes. I mean, as a brand that is rooted in running and athletics in general, we want to make sure we are and we have presence in other categories except running. And with basketball, there are plenty of space for basketball growth. And I think the condition of where the category is in whole, there are a lot of possibilities. And we rock and worry about everything we do, it will be authentic to feel us.

Tomer Azarli: What were the biggest updates in the fresh penist BB V3 that you were needed or what was it?

Kevin Trotman: Safe for sure. I would say in the beginning and probably the biggest thing that update we have here entitled, under surveillance, and really gives a suitable feeling. Kevin Trotman: Yes, for sure. To be honest, feedback was great. And I think one of the things about the fresh of it is pretty interesting is that it is a super plush and really it is really soft. It has really soft under the legs, given the fresh one, obviously. But at the same time, with this TPU a person who we have, we have not received any feedback about what is too stiff or too difficult, which is only that we are sure we want to consider when we start creating a TPU, but both sides. But yes, feedback was great about it.

Tomer Azarli: So what can you tell us about what you plan for next time?

Kevin Trotman: Yes. I mean, there’s a lot of things. There are a lot of things. What should I say that they will not bring me into haha ​​problems?

I think time goes on, you will see many more models from the category of basketball. Tomer Azarli: What was behind the collaboration name, “different bouncing”. What was the inspiration for that?

Kevin Trotman: So the collection name is “different bouncing” and that it was somehow born of that and outside the core duality about what a basketball player plays and so Kacei Linch, the owner of brick and wood, is a former basketball player. I was also a former basketball player and we are both really connected to life after basketball and idea you can still have a hand in basketball without playing a game and it’s our thing about. So, “different bounces” is fine, you may not bounce the ball up and down, but I am a product manager on basketball shoes, so we still get that fulfillment of the game, it’s just a different way. I think we really wanted to make sure you know you have a basketball shoe, but we also had a shoe of life too. That duality “different bouncing”, it kind of started.

Tomer Azarli: And then I heard that you had community event as part of the All-Star weekend?

Kevin Trotman: Yes, so in front of the Starska star, we went to the sprew high school and high school children, and they could take their photo, but I think one of the best parts of the night could take away his photo, but I think that It was really one of the best parts of the night that it was that one of the best parts of the night in himself could really have a lot of way.
