The Bulls are making a significant change in strategy before the trade deadline
The NBA trade deadline is less than two weeks away as it’s February 6th, and this could be the year they do Chicago Bulls activate. The bulls were at the center of the trade rumors for a few years now, but they haven’t really pulled the trigger on anything big. The team is in the midst of another lackluster season, and the fan base is once again demanding change.
Time is running out for the Bulls to make some moves, and as the NBA trade deadline approaches, it sounds like the Bulls are changing their strategy a bit. One stumbling block this season in terms of trades has been the high asking price from the Bulls, but there are rumors that Chicago makes some changes.
“The source reiterated that Karnisovas addressed what teams saw as unrealistic demands earlier in the season, but that still doesn’t mean the executive is ready to just give away guys,” a report from Chicago Sun The Times he said.

The Bulls also seem open to trading anyone on the roster if they think it will benefit the team. However, everyone except rookie Matas Bouzelis.
“Besides rookie Matas Bouzelis — not that he’s completely untouchable — Karnisovas would be willing to part with anyone on the roster if he felt it would make the Bulls a better product long-term and help them retain a top-10 protected 2025 draft pick.” The report said adds.
There’s no doubt about it, Bulls fans want to see the team make some moves before the deadline in hopes of building this franchise for the future. Certainly there is a a lot of buzz around the Bulls right now and potential trades, but based on how the past few years have gone, fans in the Windy City will have to see to believe.
