Cunningham’s the case is compelling. His production was higher than most Eastern Conference guards, and he is he led the Pistons 8-3 in January.
“My question is, are you an All-Star to me” Shaquille O’Neal he said to Cunningham. “I’m playing fantastic. I would like to know what is your definition of an All-Star? Because there are many, many definitions when I think of All-Star. I know what an All-Star is. I’m telling you to your face that you’re an All-Star. So if I had a vote, I would definitely vote for you. What is your definition of an All-Star?”

Will Cade Cunningham of the Pistons be an All-Star?

Cunningham may not have the production, or team success, to make him worthy of a starting selection this week. However, his numbers alone could make him a backup lock.
“Maybe they haven’t seen us play,” Cunningham said of fans who may not have voted for him yet. “I know we don’t have TV games at the moment, but if you get the chance to get League Pass, check us out. I think I could apply for you there. More than anything, I think my team plays at a high level. We’re winning, competing for the playoffs. That’s what everyone wanted from the Pistons this year. We wanted growth and I think our team is getting better and better and I’m trying to lead them.”
