Ryan Day reveals what Ohio State football needs to fix against Notre Dame

Ohio State Football coach Ryan Day still wants to see his team improve, despite making a College Football Playoff performance in the championship game. The day indicates one specific area it must be fixed.

“There’s nobody that came back on offense that was happy with the fact that we had those penalties,” Day said Sunday, per ESPN. “The problems are there. We certainly have the right and the opportunity to persevere in those penalties, but it certainly puts us behind the sticks, and we cannot have that in this game. Efficiency is going to be something we have to do a much better job of if we want to win it.”

Ohio State committed nine penalties in the team’s win over Texas. The Buckeyes also had fewer first downs and also fewer plays on offense.
