LiAngelo Ball retires to back up Lonca, LaMelo at Hornets-Bulls



When the opportunity arises LiAngelo Ball to attend the game and support his brothers Lonca and LaMelo, best believe he’ll be there.

On Friday night, a match was played between Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets at the United Center. Lonzo represented the home team, while LaMelo played for the visiting team.

LiAngelo can be spotted in the stands with a credential meant for family members, meaning he gained access to the game as a direct relative of his brothers.

The Hornets beat the Bulls 125-123. LaMelo had 26 points and nine assists, while Lonzo finished with six points, three rebounds and three assists.

This may not have been the path some fans expected when it came to the potential of the Ball brothers.

Lonzo and LaMelo were able to solidify roles for their respective teams. LiAngelo did not play in the game despite signing a non-guaranteed contract with Charlotte. He was dropped before the start of the 2021-22 season.

Regardless, LiAngelo’s single was a hit in the music world as he can look forward to a new journey with an intriguing career that he can now dedicate his craft to. As for his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo, he will continue to support them immensely with the love he has for them as the Ball brothers.

After Friday’s game, Lonzo and the Bulls will face the Portland Trail Blazers on January 19th at 9:00 PM ET. On the other hand, LaMelo and the Hornets begin preparations for their next game against the Dallas Mavericks on January 20 at noon ET.
