The official game day injury report listed Gordon as interrogativewhich suggests a 50-50 chance that they will terminate the contract. However, he has been questionable for the last few games and he is expected to return vs. Mavericks, per Chris Haynes.

Due to the lengthy layoff, Gordon could be on a minute limit upon his return. Players dealing with lower leg injuries usually return to action.
Gordon isn’t the only key Denver player on the injury report. Nikola Jokic is likely out due to a recent illness, but Jamal Murray is also questionable with a lingering left knee problem. Both played in the team’s final game, a 124-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets, though Murray was limited to just 16 minutes.
