In the middle of everyone drama with Miami Heat star Jimmy Butlerthe only source of levity was from a teammate who left his mark on social media. Heat veteran Kevin Love made several posts on social media on Instagram regarding the Butler situation that went viral while speaking with Anthony Chang of the Miami Herald about the motivation behind them.

“I think there is, in a difficult situation or a time when there can be a dark cloud over everything, I think that lightness just brings a breath of fresh air,” Love said. “Guys get into it and it’s fun.” And the fan base engages in it. They love it, the front office was super cool about it, the coaching staff finds it funny, too.”

“It was really fun to do,” Love continued. “That’s how my brain works, so when the fight (with the Rockets) first happened, that’s where it all started and I was like, ‘Oh, I can do this all the time and people love this.’ As long as I don’t go too far, I can do this the right way and get the fans involved, right now, I think I’m just picking my spots and finding ways to keep it going.”
