Eagles’ AJ Brown went viral for reading a book amid the Packers’ playoff battle

In the late stages of their Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles receiver AJ Brown was caught reading a book on the margins, after Ari Meirov on Ks.

When the cameras caught Brown reading from the sidelines, both broadcasters Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady had comments.

“So AJ Brown, he’s a little frustrated,” Burkhardt said. “Obviously, he didn’t see too many balls today. He will read a small passage here.”

“I didn’t see too many people reading books, but I saw the quarterback eating a hot dog,” Brady said.

After some research, it was discovered that Brown was reading Inner Excellence: Train Your Mind for Outstanding Performance and the Best Life Possiblea self-help book.

As Brown finished the game with just one reception for 10 yards — and showed a tendency to being upset when he is not the focal point offense — many have speculated why Brown decided to open some literature on the sidelines.

And after the game, reporters apparently asked Brown about it what was he readingbecause everyone who watched the game had something to say about it, NFL Network’s Stacey Dales said on X.

“Man, it gives me a sense of peace,” Brown said. “That’s the book I bring to every game.” My teammates call it ‘The Recipe’. You know, this is the first time I’ve heard that you caught me on camera. But it’s not the first game.

“You know, there are a lot of points there. There’s a lot of mental parts about it. For me, this game is mental. Physically I believe I can do anything and everything, but I have to make sure I’m mentally well. It’s just something I refresh every drive — whether I score a touchdown or drop a pass. I always go back to that book every ride and just refocus. Nothing matters, nothing happened. Just lock again.”

So while this may have been the first time Brown was caught on camera partaking in his bookworm tendencies, this is how Brown keeps his mental game strong every week.

And with the Eagles handing the Packers a loss in the Wild Card Roundit seems to work.
