Bucks, Bradley Beal trade talks ‘nonexistent’
With NBA trade deadline approaching, the The Milwaukee Bucks were recently rumored to be more interested in trading Bradley Beal than a trade for Jimmy Butler. But with the NBA trade deadline only about two weeks away, there is allegedly no traction on a potential Bucks trade for Bradley Beal, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.
“Contrary to popular belief, I was just informed that the Milwaukee Bucks have not inquired about Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal,” Haynes said. “In fact, it was explained to me that the relationship does not exist.” If Phoenix is able to acquire Jimmy Butler, it would not come via the Milwaukee Bucks acquiring the star point guard.
It was also rumored that The Bucks could be interested in a potential Jimmy Butler tradewith Khris Middleton central to a potential deal, according to ClutchPoints’ own NBA insider Brett Siegel. The Bucks did not inform Butler’s camp that he would not be willing to play for them.
Any potential big trade the Bucks make, however, would have to come after they move someone like Pat Connaughton and his $9.4 million contract.
