Canadiens’ Cole Coffield dropped a playoff truth bomb after a big win against the Canucks

However, Caufield doesn’t let success get to his head. In fact, he had a very simple message for Canadiens fans after the game.
“There’s still 40 to go,” Caufield said, according to The Score. He is referring to the number of competitions still remaining.

“I’d say we’re learning a little bit,” Caufield added.
The Canadiens have been hot since December 17th. On that day, Montreal was 15th in the Eastern Conference and looked dead. Since then, The Canadiens outscored their opponents and finding the right cohesion on the ice. It’s like a light switch is turned on for Cofield and company.

“I think we’re learning how to come back in games and never get out of it.” Just stop the bleeding when you get a cut. “I think we’ve progressed pretty well,” Coffield added.
Caufield is a winger who has 22 goals in 40 games this season. He has a total of 38 points and has scored in his last four games. That includes four goals in their last four games, including a win against Vancouver.
“I thought it was a big, mature game from our group tonight, and especially big for the fans,” Coffield told NHL.com.
The young winger is closing in on his goal from last season, with about 40 games to go. In the 2023-24 season, Caufield scored 28 goals for the Canadiens. He finished last season with a total of 65 points.
