EKS-VVE announces teases new project after shocking exit

Following the shocking Exit to VVE announcement Samantha Irvinher next musical move has been announced.

She recently announced the first single release As of 2020, which is before Manila VVE started. The single, titled Wake Me Up, will be released on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, 2025.

It’s been described as a “soulful R&B/pop song that’s true to her as an artist.” The single is also “the perfect re-introduction for fans of her sound”.

“Wake Me” is available pre-paid on streaming services such as Spotify. It will be available to stream on Valentine’s Day for its fans.

Former WWE announcer Samantha Irwin’s music career

Irwin now returns to music after be the ring announcer For VVE from 2021-24. Before becoming a ring announcer, Irwin performed as lead vocalist on Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

In 2015, Irwin competed on America’s Got Talent season 10. She auditioned to perform Aretha Franklin’s “(Make Me Feel) Natural Woman.” Irwin was eliminated in the semi-final round.

America’s Got Talent wasn’t the only TV show competing. IRVINE also appeared on I Can See Your Voice, singing Liz’s “Good As Hell”.

After her America has a talent show, Irwin released an EP, 27Underground. The EP features her debut, “jump high”.

Her VVE output

On October 21, 2024, Irwin announced that he was leaving VVE. She was the Monday night ring announcer at the time, and her announcement came on Monday.

She didn’t show up on raw that night. Irwin left and was later replaced by Lillian Garcia. As RAV moved to Netflix, they replaced it with their own commentary.

Garcia is now SmackDown’s Friday night ring announcer, while Alicia Taylor holds Irwin’s previous spot on RAW. Previously, Garcia was the ring announcer for WWE for several years. Her return seems to be welcomed by fans.

Originally, Irwin auditioned to become an in-ring competitor for WWE. She began her career as a ring announcer in 2021, announcing 205 live on the peacock.

She was then subsequently moved to NKST, serving as the ring announcer while on the US network. Irwin then moved to Smackdown in January 2022 and stayed there until February 2023.

Irwin was then moved to the raw and continued to be on the red flag until her exit. At Wrestlemania XL, Irwin presented 14 matches over the doubleheader event.

Who is SAMANTHA IRVIN’S FIANCE, RICOCHET?

She is engaged to professional wrestling Ricochet. He is currently at AEV since August 2024. He recently left VVE after being with them for six years.

His VVE career began in 2018. Ricochet previously wrestled in promotions such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPV) and Lucha underground.

After a brief RKST run, which included him becoming the North American Champion, Ricochet moved to the main roster. He became United States Champion shortly after joining the main roster.

His final months in WWE included a feud against Bronn Breakfair. He left VVE in June 2024 and subsequently joined Aevo in August 2024. Ricochet made his debut in everything at this point and that he also returned to NJPV during this run. We’ll see if Irwin and Ricochet reunite in the ring any time soon.
