Russell Vestbruck sends a strong message to Nagets that accepted it
Before the start of the season 2024-25, Veteran Spitz Russell Vestbruck signed Denver Nagets To help them fill their bench and provide additional veteran leadership. Things didn’t go as per the plan, but not in a bad way. Due to the occasional injuries of Jamala Murray and Aron Gordon, Westbruck found himself in the starting line up during the decent part of the season. When Vestbruck is in the starting lineup, Nagets have a score 18-5.
Vestbruck has been pledged in Nagets attack, and occasionally gave us shades of his old self.
“I’m grateful to let me come here, and then what I allowed me to be what I was throughout my career,” Vestbruck said.

Next to the desire in Nagets attack, Westbruck has formed a pretty relationship With Nikola Jokic. With every game that passes, their connection becomes stronger.
“It’s a job easy for me. If I’m on the field, and the best player is on the park, find a way to bring him the ball, “Vestbruck said. “And that’s what I do, at every opportunity I get.”

Dok Jokic continues to fight for the fourth MVP award in his career, Vestbruck is fully aware that the witness is in size and gets old to appreciate his time with him.
“I’m grateful to share the terrain with the best player of the world,” Vestbruck said. “I don’t take that opportunity for granted.”
In a recent TNT postgame show, Jokić returned praise. Not only was he grateful for the connection they had established, but went so far as to said Vestbruck may not have received real opportunities with some of his previous teams.
“I like the connection we have,” Jokic said. “I just have to look at him and he knows exactly what I mean. I’m a little slower so waiting for me to get to my place and goes at the right time. He is a great player. I think the teams played in the past misunderstood him and did not give him the opportunity to be what it is.
