The There was talk of the Canucks to be interested in moving one of JT Miller or Elias Pettersson, who are said to be involved in a rift between them.

“I know I can do better,” Pettersson said. “I’ll be the first to say it and I don’t think it will ever get easier.”

“I didn’t have the start (of the season) that I wanted. At the end of the day, I have expectations from the club, and obviously I haven’t met them yet. But, I mean, it doesn’t matter what people say. I know what I can do and that’s what I focus on.”

Pettersson is one player who needs to improve his performance quickly, as he has just 10 goals and 19 assists so far in the 2024-25 season.
