Dionte Johnson is re-entering the free agent market, with his reputation and current skill set under serious scrutiny. He is young enough to revive his career and could earn another chance to prove himself next season. Houston is still moving on. DeMeco Ryans and his team should immerse themselves in the frenzied atmosphere that will fill Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.

A revitalized Johnson could add tremendous value to this one AFC divisional round matchbut he didn’t make the leap that management wanted. Second-year quarterback CJ Stroud will instead lean on Pro Bowl VR Nico Collins and hope someone else from the pass-catching group comes through.

The Texans are in a vulnerable state and have been for some time, but a wounded bull is supposedly more dangerous than a healthy one. This desperate group doesn’t have the star power or championship pedigree to stack up against the Chiefs. However, persistence and desire can sometimes yield extraordinary results.
