Hulk Hogan refused to go on the HBCU tour, according to a WWE legend



After booing at the Netflix premiere Monday Night Ravit was revealed by WWE legend Mark Henry Hulk Hogan he once turned down an HBCU tour.

Hogan appeared at the premiere Rav to promote that VVE has signed a partnership with him and his beer brand Real American Beer, which will receive significant promotion during VVE events for the duration of the partnership. When Hogan came out to do a beer promo which he loudly booed with audience reaction becoming a trending topic online hours after the show.

Henry discussed Hogan’s refusal to do The HBCU tour continues TMZ Sports. Henry he wasn’t surprised how the crowd reacted to Hogan given his earlier inflammatory remarks.

“Whenever you consider the Mount Rushmore of wrestling’s top 10 of all time, Hogan will always be in the top 10. But now, you know, with the social climate and the things he’s been saying and doing and his lack of effort to fix it, people will agree with that,” Henry said in an interview.

However, Henry said he tried to help him through it.

“He never wanted to go ahead and fix it.” So, you know, that’s what happens when you think everything is going to go away. It won’t go away,” Henry said. “I offered to say, ‘Hey, let’s do a tour of black colleges, law schools and explain what happened,'” he said. “He didn’t want to do it.”

Henry stressed that he had never had a problem with Hogan before news of his inflammatory remarks became public.

“I never had a problem with him before I heard all the stuff,” he said. “And even then, I believe in giving second chances.” Anyone who knows me knows that I am a fixer. I won’t dwell on the negative. I won’t talk about the past. Let’s move forward.”
