Darius Garland: That means a lot of man. It’s a blessing to be here. I just enjoy all the festivities. I am in a three-point competition, so I’m pretty excited about it. Yes, just to join the ceremony, we will be around my family, be around some friends and I just enjoy it.

TA: Let’s start with the new balance here. Now you’ve been with new balance for just over a year. Why did you feel like a new balance was right to be in that point in your career?

Darius Garland: Yes, it was family oriented and I’m really in my family. It’s a superbarbing wicked guy who’s with a group. It is currently five or six basketball guys, so great close. I mean, it was just perfect for me. I only mean the company itself. They are just super welcome. They gave me with open hands and were willing to do a lot of things I wanted to do, especially in the community. So I’m super excited about it.

TA: You just mentioned the community and family? How was it like working with this team from that aspect?

Darius Garland: It’s great fun. They are super proactive. They are always willing to listen to and learning and give me a lot of feedback. So it’s great cool. Especially on the creative side. They always give us good ideas about PE and things like that. So super exciting.

TA: How are you, like different colors or designs? Is that a big deal for you?

Darius Garland: Yes, super different pavement and crazy colors. It’s definitely me. But yes, I think they put their little spices in that. So I’m sure that’s for sure.

TA: The new balance quite dramatically grows in popularity. I think they were famous for mostly on testing, perhaps lifestyle, but they took a little bit in basketball, as if it was a big deal for them. Does it kind of feel like you know how you carved your career and the way in which the new balance of the rise is that you were perfect at the time.

Darius Garland: Yes, for sure. It was like a shine at the right time, it feels like. How the basketball side grows, I grow as a player. And then even other guys, like Tireese Makeya grows. Kavhi (Leonard) has always been all the star and was a brown star. Zach (avalanches) will be a perennial all star. So it’s cool just whether these guys are just like around me, and then now they feel, just a new balance. So great is cool that we all grow at the same time. It’s great cool.

TA: Is there a signature shoe in the future? Did you look at it or were you thinking about design and different things like that?

Darius Garland: We didn’t talk about it that much, but I wish I had a signature with Mark. It’s a cool partner you’re working with, so I’m sure I’m sure.

TA: Is such as the goal you want to ask yourself? Is that something you want like in your career?

Darius Garland: Yes, I mean, that’s the goal of every player. They just like their signature shoe shoe can only wear. It’s definitely my goal. I would definitely like to have it with a new balance and I hope it’s one day in acts.

And yes, only players and coaching staff give me that confidence to just go out there and just me. It opens a lot for me and therefore I can be aggressive and go to play my game.

TA: In 44-10 records, you know, five games above the next team in the East as this year has changed for the song?

Darius Garland: Ah man … Our buddy is pretty good at the moment. This group is now together two to three years. So our guys are quite normal to each other. They have a really good feeling of each other on and from the floor. And so the friendship prevails, it just puts us on top.

TA: There were a lot of claims thrown about you and Donovan Mitchell, maybe they can’t work together at the tabs and separated you. You did not manage to do it, but you exercise each other. How could you do it together?

Darius Garland: Conversations, bro. It is some adult man’s conversations that are taken over. And just looking at a lot of film together. Trying to understand where we can help each other in court, trying to find different places where we can both be aggressive. Darius Garland: Yes, only some different things we could talk about, our differences, our similarities, things we can be better on the basketball floor.

TA: I don’t think many people saw this type of start for you and your team this year. I don’t think anyone is, probably beyond your locker. I remember talking to Donovo last year before signing an extension. He was very confident in the team of this guze, he knew you might be something special. Anti-cache, you showed what you could be. What was such a way of thinking in a year? I mean, obviously, I don’t know if you saw 44-10, but as this kind of thinking came into this year?

Darius Garland: It was really for us just to improve. I know we haven’t finished so good as we wanted last year. So, we definitely just wanted us to be a little better than we were. Our main thing is just to continue every year and only growth. That’s what we got prone to every year. I mean, that’s what we’re doing now. Many people don’t think we were so good this year or even last year. So now just putting the world on notice and show that we can really be one of those best candidate teams, it means a lot to all of us.

TA: Obviously Championship is a goal, but is it kind of good to prove some of those suspicious wrong that you not only do not win only to win, but win determined in these games?

Darius Garland: Yes, for sure. As a team and I personally. Last year, a lot of people suspected me and the team. So now, putting the whole world to the notice, it means a lot to all of us.

TA: I wanted to ask you a big picture question here. Once your NBA career is done, what do you want to be your legacy? What you want to be famous if nothing else.

Darius Garland: I want to be one of the best guards to ever play this game. And then as a hard worker, a guy who is quite nice, with someone you can connect. And then it’s just a good guy, on and off the floor, a good teammate, good closet, a good basketball player, of course. But yes, that was just some of the main things.
