49ers’ George Kittle celebrates Penta’s WWE debut
The The San Francisco 49ers season could ended in a way they did not hope for. The team dealt with injuries and other issues throughout the season and didn’t even make it back to the postseason. Star end George Kittle was also disappointed with last season’s results, but still found a reason to celebrate a good friend. During Monday Night Rav, Kittle congratulated new WWE Superstar Penta on his debut with the world’s largest wrestling promotion.
“@PENTAELZEROM ” Kittle posted on X, formerly Twitter, during Monday Night Rav.
Penta made his debut against Chad Gable. It was an exciting back-and-forth battle in which Penta claimed victory with its patented Penta Driver. over the years, Kittle was the vocalist supporter of Penta and his brother Ray Phoenix. The 49ers’ tight end is a big fan of professional wrestling in general, specifically Penta and Fenix (collectively known as the Lucha Brothers) and WWE Superstar Bayley, who is a Bay Area native. With Penta off to a strong start in his new home on the Rav, can Kittle and his fellow Niners return to the top next season?

49ers George Kittle looks to bounce back in 2025

Entering 2024, few people would have predicted that The Niners would finish fourth in the NFC West. Many analysts and fans predicted them to return to the postseason, and some picked them to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl again. Based on the returning talent, it was a logical choice. Brock Purdy has solidified his position as the starting quarterback and the offense is loaded with stars including Purdy, Kittle, Dib Samuel Sr., Christian McCaffrey and more.
Still, injuries ravaged San Francisco. So many key pieces, like McCaffrey, have missed the mark. Those absences derailed the best-laid plans of head coach Kyle Shanahan, GM John Lynch and the Niners’ bravado. Other incidents have hampered San Francisco’s rise and helped lead to a 6-11 record this season. Now the focus is on getting back to the postseason in 2025, plus more. Can the Niners bounce back and make some noise in an NFC that is much deeper than it was in 2023? That’s what Kittle and his teammates hope, not to mention the rest of the 49ers faithful.
